After Porter-Cable captured the lion's share of the pneumatic nailer business it seemed natural to focus on a whole line of pneumatic tools. After two years of testing and redesigning and testing again Porter-Cable is proud to introduce their new line of pneumatic tools. The double pin clutch mechanism in this 1/2-inch impact enables this unit to produce a surprising 400 ft/lbs of torque at 90 pounds per square inch of pressure (psi). 1,000 blows per minute are achieved by a free spinning speed of 7,000 revolutions per minute (rpm) making this unit not only strong but fast as well. The best feature of all has to be the variable-speed trigger for precise control, a feature not normally offered on pneumatic tools. A one-touch forward/reverse selector and cushion grip round this tool out.
