The Milwaukee 48-03-0050 is a Tool Adapter Assembly. This tool adapter is for use in drilling, tapping and milling operations with the spindle of a machining center having a collet type tool holder which holds the tool which upon advancement into the work piece at a programmed feed rate to a programmed depth rate utilizes a spring loaded unit to signal the computer numerical control through a transducer of the machining center in the event a tool is broken during the machining operation to automatically stop said operation.
